My friends and I are taking a trip down to Southern California and we wanted to rent a hotel room for one night. We’re all 16 with the exclusion of our driver being 17. Were looking for a hotel room that will allow us to book and stay. it’s four girls.

hmmmmm. I think you have to be 21 and have a credit card in order to get a room.. But I suggest, Try a couple of hostels in the area.
Sorry, you’re out of luck. All hotels require you to be at least 18 (most hotels have a policy of 21), with a valid credit card.
Here’s why: Many hotels used to rent rooms to minors if they had a parents credit card. However, too many of these kids trashed the room, stole stuff, etc. And hotels had a terrible time trying to collect from these parents. And the hotels just don’t want the hassle. So, as a policy, they don’t rent to minors at all. Very few hotels will take a chance on anyone under 21.
Better get a responsible adult to go along. Sorry.

You must be AT LEAST 18+ to rent a hotel.
18 and 21 are the allowed ages. If you are below 21 years old you must check the hotels check-in policies for minimum checkin age of 18, because some hotels allow only people of 21 years old. You may also need a Photo ID. If you are below 18, Some one 18 can book a room and take you with him.
Else you can also call the hotels directly to know whether they allow you or not.
Instead you can try the hostels.
I Searched on this site and got the Cheapest Hotel,Check it out,it also had Discount Coupon Codes for Expedia,Orbitz,Travelocity,Priceline, Kayak,etc.
